View MoreWhile visiting Astoria, OR I stopped at Custard King and asked if I could repaint their defaced wall as a way of showing support for my Step Mother who was facing her final cancer treatments that day. I decided to make this surfing frog to celebrate the local community that surfs in the nearby mouth of the Columbia River, but it also represents my Step Mother who chose to figuratively surf the daunting tidal wave of battling cancer as compared to being overwhelmed by the situation. When a representative from the town stopped by the wall I was told this piece would have to be painted over since I did not have a permit to do it, but luckily the piece was able to stay after the community showed support for the piece.

View MoreThis mural was painted in 3 days for BC Farms in Jacksonville, OR. I fractured my skull days before starting this piece while riding at the skatepark, so this mural was quite the physical battle for me.
